The actress, who is best known for her role as Tina Turner in the movie “What’s Love Got to Do With It,” welcomed her first child with husband Todd Fisher. Quincy weighed in at 7 lbs., 3 oz., and is measuring 19 inches long.
The “Laugh-In” star says she was “overwhelmed with joy” when she found out she was pregnant, and can’t wait to spend time with her son.
“Todd and I are ecstatic to be parents. We can’t wait to start raising our son together and introducing him to all of his family and friends,” Fields said in a statement.
Quincy is Kim Fields’ second child after daughter Keen
Kim Fields has announced the arrival of her second child, Quincy Xavier Morgan. The 37-year-old actress and singer took to Instagram on Wednesday to share a photo of her new son, with the caption “Welcome Quincy Xavier Morgan!”
Fields and her husband, producer Aaron Kaplan, welcomed their son in Los Angeles on Feb. 12. The couple already has a daughter, Keenan Leigh Fields, who was born in November 2014.
“We are so excited to add Quincy to our family,” Fields said in a statement at the time of Keenan’s birth. “He is already such a big part of our lives and we can’t wait to see what he brings into the world.”
In addition to her acting career, Fields is also a singer and songwriter. She recorded an album in 2016 called Soul Sister that was released through N/A Records.
Kim Fields is best known for her roles in the TV series Sister, Sister and Eight Is Enough, as well as films like Uncle Buck and Death Becomes Her.
