Yoshiko Hanabatake
Yoshiko Hanabatake is the main character of the series dubbed by Aoi Yuki. Yoshiko is a mischievous high school girl. She’s not good in terms of academics and with peers.
Oftentimes, she gets a zero score on her exams. Her lack of talent for academics is the opposite when it comes to her passion for things. Her audacity to make something done is superb.
Yoshiko’s unlimited energy makes her character shine. Her light brown hair braided in long twin tails sums up her unique appearance. She’s often seen hanging out with her best friend Akuru.
Much to his annoyance, Yoshiko and Akuru would spend time together even at school. They are in the same class. She doesn’t know when people started to get annoyed with her.
Akuru Akutsu
Akuru Akutsu is Yoshiko’s neighbor, best friend, and classmate dubbed by Tomokazu Sugita. Unlike Yoshiko, he’s a focused, serious high school student.
He gets annoyed with Yoshiko’s company and her high jinks. It was not his intention to be in the same class as Yoshiko. Since the other academic schools are very distant from his location, he was forced to pick the local school.
Akuru constantly scolds Yoshiko for her behavior. He acts as a guardian to Yoshiko’s audacity and lack of discipline. Akuru is a studious student but never gets a perfect score.
Sayaka Sumino
Sayaka Sumino is the third person to become friends with Yoshiko and Akuru. The character was dubbed by Sayaka Harada. She acts as a moderator between Yoshiko and others.
Sayaka’s character is kind and afraid of getting left out. But, she sometimes snaps out of her patience.
Fuki Iincho
Fuki Iincho is Yoshiko and Akuru’s upperclassman. The character is dubbed by Sumire Uesaka. Fuki is in charge of reprimanding delinquent students. As such, she’s a sworn enemy of Yoshiko.
She has a big crush on Akuru after receiving compliments on Yoshiko. She’s a love rival of Yoshiko. Fuki’s actions are also considered weird.
At first, she’s unaware of her eerie character. With Sayaka’s help, she managed to control her uncanny ways.
Fuki is smart and excels in academics. But her love for Akuru forced her to drop out. Now, she’s in the same class as him along with Yoshiko and Sayaka.
Ryuuichi Kurosaki

He shows her utmost respect and considers himself as Yoshiko’s disciple. Despite his regard to Yoshiko as a gang leader, Ryuuichi is skilled in academics. He even got a higher score than Akuru in an exam.
Plot
The series is about Yoshiko Hanabatake, a young, carefree high school student. Her audacious and idiotic character made her annoying to other people.
She’s not good with academics. People hate her because of her stupidity. The only person she gets to hang out with is Akuru, her classmate and neighbor.
At first, it was just Yoshiko and Akuru. But later on, they became friends with Sayaka, a kind and sensitive person. She keeps Yoshiko in check and makes sure she’s doing fine.
Together, they attended high school in the same class. However, Yoshiko’s free-spirited character caught the attention of the Public Morals Chairwoman, Fuki. She hates Yoshiko and tries to reprimand her.
Yoshiko’s attitude hit a nerve on Fuki which made them sworn enemies. However, when Akuru intervened, she had a crush on him. It’s not just about morality, it’s a love war on the brew.
Yoshiko made friends with Ryuuichi who considers himself as a disciple. He loves Yoshiko’s antics and follows her lead.

However, based on its popularity and status, there’s about a 20% chance for another season. Fans are eager to hear word for the release of Aho-Girl’s second season.
If the second season is soon to be released, it may still follow Yoshiko’s carefree lifestyle. It would be a series of events of high school life with comedy and love war. After all, it’s a fun and exciting anime series.
The love triangle between Yoshiko, Akuru, and Fuki would still be there. Unending confrontations between Yoshiko and Fuki can still be seen.
