The strongest fighter in the world, son Goku has been living his life in peace after defeating Majin Buu. Six months have passed after the incident and Goku has been working as a farmer to fulfill the needs of his family meanwhile all of his comrades including Vegeta, Krillin, Piccolo, Android 17 and 18 have been spending their days in peace as well until the God of Destruction – Lord Beerus makes an appearance after decades of sleep with his acquaintance – Whis. Beerus challenges Goku to a battle as the Super Saiyan God while threatening him about destroying the whole planet if he loses/refuses, Goku also unlocks his new form – The Super Saiyan God Mode during the battle but still comes up short against the god of destruction. 

Beerus seems to be impressed by Goku’s efforts and mercifully spares the planet. The story continues as Vegeta and Goku both go training with Beerus’ acquaintance Whis leaving the Earth in the hands of Gohan and others. During that time the long-time rival of Goku and his comrades – Frieza is resurrected with the help of Dragon Balls. A stronger Frieza once again plans to destroy Earth and seek revenge from Goku and Vegeta. The series features an iconic battle between Super Saiyan God Blue Goku and Golden Frieza.

Frieza tastes defeat one more time in the battle. The series also features a Tournament of Power between most primary universes where Goku unlocks and even masters the Ultra Instinct mode while fighting Jiren. The tournament includes several mind-blowing battles between the warriors of the universes as that is what the series is known for.


The protagonist character Son Goku / Kakarot was voiced by Sean Schemmel. The character of Vegeta was voiced by Christopher Sabat. The character of Son Gohan was voiced by Kyle Hebert and the character of Future Trunks was voiced by Eric Vale. The character of Goten Son was voiced by Kara Edwards and the character of Trunks was voiced by Alexis Tipton.

The character of Krillin was voiced by Sonny Strait and the character of  Piccolo was voiced by Christopher Sabat. The character of Beerus was voiced by Jason Douglas and the character of Whis was voiced by Ian Sinclair. The character of Frieza was voiced by Christopher Ayres and the character of Champa was voiced by Jason Liebrecht.

Will the 132nd episode be released?

The future of the Dragon Ball Super series is yet to be decided as the thing in question is the re-adaptation of the Movie Dragon Ball Super: Broly in the series. If there is an adaptation of the movie in the series then the first few episodes will be featuring the plot of the movie and after that, they will begin the highly anticipated Moro arc which features Moro as the Villian who is said to be stronger than even Jiren himself. The moro arc in the manga seemed to impress the Dragon Ball fanbase quite a lot.
