Ms. Tureaud was born in New Orleans, Louisiana on February 23, 1969. She is the daughter of legendary actor and rapper Mr. T and actress Leslie Uggams.

Ms. Tureaud started her career as a model before making her feature film debut in the drama The Autobiography of Miss Jane Pittman (1996). She went on to appear in films such as Malcolm X (1992), How Stella Got Her Groove Back (1998), and Gettin’ Over It (2005).

Tureaud also had a recurring role on the sitcom Martin (1997-2001) and appeared in several episodes of the hit series CSI: Crime Scene Investigation.

In 2006, she released her first album, This Is Me Now…Then, which featured the singles “I Believe” and “Trust”. The album peaked at number eight on the Billboard 200 chart.
