The Seven Deadly Sins is one of the most popular and the most successful anime series that was released in the past few years. It has been written by Nakaba Suzuki. Nakaba Suzuki is also the illustrator of the manga on which the anime is based. The Manga was serialized in one of the most popular weekly’s, named Kodansha’s Weekly Shōnen Magazine. It ran from October 2012 to March 2020. The entire plot of the series was divided into forty-one tankōbon volumes.
The Manga “The Seven Deadly Sins” is based on the European Middle Ages and several events that took place around the same time. It has several groups of knights who represent the seven deadly sins that have been listed in Christian mythology. Crunchyroll released all its chapters digitally, across 170 countries. Kodansha USA licensed the Manga to sponsor its English publication.

Plot:
The story revolves around the formerly known group Seven Deadly sins who once existed as an active group of knights fighting for the safety of the kingdom of Brittania but were later disbanded after the group supposedly plotted a plan to overthrow the Liones Kingdom.
The Seven Deadly sins tasted defeat in their plan by the hands of the Holy Knights who protected the Liones Kingdom but the rumors after their defeat that stated that the group members were still alive continued to persist. A decade later the same Holy Knights of the kingdom plan a coup d’état to abduct and overthrow the current king to rule over the Liones Kingdom and the citizens tyrannically and succeed in their task of doing so.
As time passes, the 3rd princess of the Liones Kingdom – Elizabeth sets out on a journey to find the members of the infamous group – Seven Deadly Sins and seek their help to take back the rule over the kingdom and overthrow the Holy Knights who betrayed the kingdom and its people.
