Story Plot
The story of Kingdom revolves around the character Alvey Kulina, who is the owner of a martial arts gym in California. He is joined by his girlfriend Lisa. Alvey is helpful to people who work out and gives training to them along with his two sons – Nate played by Nick Jonas and Jay played by Jonathan Tucker. In Kingdom Jay is shown as a person who is dealing with the habit of drinking alcohol and is also addicted to drugs.
Nate, his brother, is also facing issues in his personal life. Ryan, a character played by Matt Lauria, was also an efficient fighter with his father Alvey. But their bonding left when the latter earned a big reputation until he got arrested for bashing his father. He was sent to jail. After his release, Alvey once again expects him to join him in the fight and become the trainer.
But his girlfriend Lisa, played by actress Kiela Sanchez opposed his decision since she was earlier engaged to Ryan. However, she finally agrees to it for the sake of the gym. Alvey has an estranged wife who is a sex worker and is addicted to drugs. Fighting is the only way out for the survival of life for them both in the ring as well as in real life.
